And Now His Watch is Ended

Contains spoilers for this episode and earlier episodes.

Jaime struggles to survive after Locke cuts off his sword hand. His captors humiliate him, and an attempted fight leaves him beaten again. Brienne challenges his wish to give up and urges him to live. Theon confesses to his apparent rescuer that he killed two other boys instead of Bran and Rickon. He realises too late that the young man has guided him back to the same dungeon. With the Brotherhood, Arya accuses the Hound of murdering Mycah. Beric Dondarrion decides that the charge will be settled in a trial by combat against him.

In King's Landing, Varys warns Olenna that Baelish could use Sansa to gain power in the North. Margaery suggests that Sansa might marry Loras, while Cersei fails to persuade Tywin that the Tyrells threaten their family. At Craster's Keep, anger over food erupts into mutiny. Karl kills Craster, Rast kills Mormont, and Sam escapes with Gilly and her baby. In Astapor, Daenerys hands Drogon to Kraznys and receives command of the Unsullied. She reveals that she understands Valyrian, orders the soldiers to kill the masters and tells Drogon to burn Kraznys. After freeing the army, she gives its soldiers the choice to leave. They choose to follow her, and she marches from the city with the Unsullied and her dragons.
