Season synopsis
Contains spoilers for this season and earlier seasons.
Living under new faces after faking their deaths, Piper and Phoebe try civilian lives while Paige’s Whitelighter side keeps drawing her back to witchcraft. Paige finds Billie Jenkins, a gifted young witch who has been fighting demons alone, and brings her home to train. The sisters abandon the disguise when Homeland Security agent Murphy learns the truth and agrees to cover for them. Billie’s search for her kidnapped sister, Christy, becomes central after she recovers memories of the abduction and learns to use projection. Piper, Phoebe and Paige also navigate ordinary work and relationships: Paige falls for parole officer Henry, while Phoebe dates artist Dex and later meets Cupid Coop.
The Angel of Destiny freezes Leo until the sisters win an approaching battle. Billie finds Christy, who has been manipulated by the Triad into opposing the Halliwells. Christy turns Billie and their magical allies against the sisters, forcing them into the Underworld. Both families absorb the Hollow to fight each other; their battle destroys the manor and kills Phoebe, Paige and Christy. Leo returns to the surviving Piper, while Billie escapes.
Piper and Leo use Coop’s ring to travel through time. With Patty and Grams, Piper removes the Hollow from the battle, averting the deaths. Billie then recognizes Christy’s allegiance to the Triad and joins the Halliwells. When Christy refuses to stop and throws a fireball, Billie deflects it and kills her. Leo is restored to the family. The closing account shows Piper opening a restaurant, Paige raising children with Henry and working as a Whitelighter, and Phoebe marrying Coop.
