Mike watches the people following him pass his car’s tracker to a courier, then tails the courier around Albuquerque. The route leads to Los Pollos Hermanos, where the tracker appears to stop. Meanwhile, Jimmy hires Francesca as Wexler-McGill’s receptionist so she can field calls after his commercial airs. Mike asks Jimmy to look inside the restaurant when the courier returns. Jimmy checks the discarded trash, but Gus Fring approaches before he finds anything. Jimmy drops his watch into the bin, pretends it fell there, and tells Mike he saw nothing unusual.
Mike continues after Victor, whose car now carries the tracker. When the signal stops, Mike finds a ringing phone on the road beside his gas cap and answers it. Ernesto tells Kim that he heard Jimmy’s recorded confession. Kim realizes Chuck deliberately let the secret reach them and advises Jimmy to wait for Chuck’s next move. Jimmy drives off angry. Howard secretly enters Chuck’s house through the back door to wait with him. Chuck explains to Howard that he expects Jimmy to break in and destroy the tape. Jimmy kicks in the door and smashes it. Howard and private investigator David Brightbill step out as witnesses, leaving Chuck able to report the break-in.
