Kim leaves HHM and accepts Mesa Verde as her client, while Jimmy agrees to share office space with her and maintain separate practices. The arrangement seems to give both lawyers room to work on their own terms. Chuck learns that Kim has taken the account and, despite his fear of electrical devices, meets with Mesa Verde’s executives to argue that she is not ready to handle their business.
Chuck’s comments persuade Kevin Wachtell to return the account to HHM. He collapses after the meeting, having pushed himself beyond what he can tolerate. Jimmy consoles Kim over the loss and reassures her that another chance will come. To attract clients for his elder-law practice, he takes a film crew onto an Air Force base by presenting an elderly sex offender as a veteran.
The crew shoots a commercial beside a World War II bomber called Fifi. Meanwhile, Mike follows Hector from his restaurant to a remote garage, then starts making a spike strip from a hose and nails. Later, Ernesto tells him Chuck’s health worsened after the Mesa Verde meeting. Jimmy offers to care for Chuck, waits until his brother is asleep, then accesses the client files and alters the address information for a planned branch.
