Bali Ha'i

Contains spoilers for this episode.

Jimmy cannot sleep in his polished Davis & Main apartment, so he returns to the back room of the nail salon and rests easily in his old office. The next morning he leaves Kim a voicemail, singing “Bali Ha’i.” Chuck has helped Kim leave document review, but Howard still gives her menial assignments and unwinnable motions in court.

Rich Schweikart notices Kim’s work and offers her a position at his firm with better pay and the promise of meaningful cases. Unsure whether to accept, she joins Jimmy in another con, targeting an investor at a hotel bar. They obtain a ten-thousand-dollar investment cheque, but Kim keeps it as a souvenir of their successful deception instead of cashing it. She tells Jimmy she is weighing her options, while he hides how unhappy he is at Davis & Main.

Mike refuses Hector’s offer to take responsibility for Tuco’s gun. Hector sends men to intimidate him, then the Cousins threaten Mike’s family. Mike finally agrees to claim the gun was his, but demands fifty thousand dollars. Hector accepts. Mike later gives half of that payment to Nacho, refunding the money Nacho paid to get Tuco arrested because Mike believes their arrangement has not worked out as promised.
