Jack and Audrey leave CTU for Felsted Security to inspect footage from the dinner where she saw one of her captors. Heller reluctantly agrees, holding Jack responsible for her safety. Marianne secretly gives Henry Powell their location and receives instructions to divert suspicion from herself. At CTU, Edgar proposes a risky way to shut down reactors that the override has not fully secured. A mistake could accelerate a meltdown, but he insists he can complete the work. Heller also releases Richard after the interrogation yields no useful information, leaving his son furious over the treatment he received at his father's direction.
Behrooz calls Dina to say he killed Tariq in self-defense and learned that Navi ordered his death. Dina arranges to collect him, but Navi forces her to cooperate with another attempt to capture their son. At the station she warns Behrooz and tries to get him onto a train. Gunfire wounds her, and Behrooz helps them escape in the car. At Felsted, Audrey identifies the man in the footage before gunmen attack. Jack saves the recordings and calls Tony Almeida, who arrives when Jack and Audrey are cornered. Edgar shuts down more reactors, but six remain beyond his control and still threaten to melt down.
