If you are signed up for Swordland Showdown but cannot enter, check your troops and town before the scheduled battle starts. This guide covers Showdown on Android and iOS.
Clear the troop and town conditions
Work through these checks before trying entry again:
- Finish healing troops waiting in your Infirmary.
- Bring back your gathering squads.
- Return troops you have garrisoned elsewhere and troops sent to attack. Wait until they are home.
- Put out any fire at your Guard Station.
These are the conditions that can block entry. Check all of them: returning one march does not clear troops still gathering somewhere else.
The Enlistment Office is different. Troops waiting there do not prevent participation; you do not need to empty it to satisfy the Infirmary check.
Check registration or a return timer
Confirm that you are looking at your scheduled Showdown battle and your assigned participation. Joining an alliance after its registration phase closes makes you ineligible for that event. Clearing your town cannot change that deadline; arrange participation before the next registration closes.
If you already entered and left the battlefield, the return delay is 12 minutes. A full battle lasts one hour, so leaving late can use up a large part of your remaining time. Wait for the return period before trying again. Return mechanism
For planning with alliance members, find or change an Alliance Vote. For losses from ordinary Expedition battles, separate deaths from recoverable troops before preparing your next army.
