Twilight
Bella Swan moves to Forks to live with her father and expects rain, not the Cullens.
About
Twilight is a young adult vampire romance by Stephenie Meyer, published in 2005 and the first book of the Twilight Saga. It is the novel that put the modern vampire romance in front of a mass readership: it has been translated into 37 languages.
At seventeen, Bella Swan leaves Phoenix, Arizona, and goes to live in Forks, Washington with her father, who is the town's police chief. She settles into school quickly, and then notices the Cullens, a family of siblings who keep to themselves and whose son, Edward, is strange in ways she cannot stop cataloguing: the cold skin, the speed, and the eyes that change colour.
Working out what he is turns out to be the easier problem. Edward is a vampire frozen at seventeen, and the harder issue is that being close to him puts everyone else in Bella's life in danger. Neither of them seems capable of walking away from the other, and the small town they live in becomes a place where something is genuinely hungry, with the ordinary high-school parts of the story carrying as much of the tension as the vampires.
The saga continues in New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, and the first novel establishes Bella, Edward, the Cullen family and the werewolves across the reservation. It is a romance with folklore underneath it, and it is written from Bella's point of view.
