Role Model is a romance novel by the Canadian writer Rachel Reid, published in 2021 and part of the Game Changers series.

Troy Barrett has been traded to the worst team in the league, which would be bad enough on its own, and the trade arrives directly after a public scandal and the end of a relationship he would rather not discuss. He wants to play hockey and stay out of the news, and what the club wants from him instead is to improve his reputation, with the help of its social media manager. Harris Drover is cheerful, persistent and not inclined to give up on people, including a new player who is openly unhappy to be there. He is also developing feelings he assumes are one-sided, until Troy's manner towards him begins to change. The move to the new club becomes the chance for Troy to stop hiding who he is, and for both of them the question is what being seen together in public would cost.
