The damaged Razor Crest reaches Trask, allowing the Frog Lady to reunite with her husband. His information sends the Mandalorian to a fishing vessel whose captain offers passage to others wearing similar armor. The offer is another trap. The crew throws the child into a sea creature's enclosure and shuts the Mandalorian inside when he dives after him. Three armored fighters arrive before the hunters can take his beskar, rescuing both him and the child.
Their leader, Bo-Katan Kryze, removes her helmet and challenges the assumptions behind his distrust. She identifies his community as the Children of the Watch, whose strict customs do not represent every Mandalorian. She and Koska Reeves and Axe Woves are gathering weapons to retake their homeworld. In return for help raiding an Imperial freighter, she promises information about a Jedi. The Mandalorian leaves the child with the Frog family and joins the boarding party, expecting a limited theft of weapons.
Bo-Katan changes the objective once they are aboard: she intends to capture the whole ship and find the Darksaber taken from her. Ordered by Gideon to sacrifice the vessel, its captain sends it into a dive. The Mandalorian clears the route to the bridge, allowing the others to seize control before impact. The captain kills himself rather than lead Bo-Katan to Gideon. She nevertheless honors her bargain, directing the hunter to Ahsoka Tano on Corvus. He collects the child and continues his mission in the poorly repaired ship.
