Butcher uses Little Nina's Russian contacts to arrange access to the facility linked to Soldier Boy's disappearance. The deal pulls Frenchie back into work he wants to leave and makes Kimiko carry out a violent assignment. She and Frenchie talk about escaping that life together once the mission is over. Hughie discovers Butcher has been taking Temp V and wants the same protection, especially while Homelander openly threatens the people around him.
At Vought, Edgar expects Neuman to help contain Homelander, but she publicly turns the investigation toward Edgar instead. Homelander gains room to control the company while Neuman obtains Compound V for her daughter. Annie learns that Maeve has been helping Butcher and recruits Supersonic into resistance against Homelander. Supersonic approaches A-Train, believing another member of the Seven could help, but his attempt to expand their small alliance exposes it.
The Boys enter the Russian facility, where Butcher reveals his powers under fire and Hughie uses his own stolen dose to teleport. They find Soldier Boy alive rather than the weapon they expected. His escape blast hits Kimiko, whose wounds stop healing, and Frenchie rushes her toward medical help. Homelander then shows Annie Supersonic's body and says A-Train revealed their plan. The search has released a dangerous Supe while Annie's effort to find allies has been answered with murder.
