Season synopsis

Daniel Jackson returns to human life with almost no memory of who he is, and SG-1 helps him recover his place on the team. Their struggle with Anubis begins with an attack on his superweapon and continues when he targets Jonas Quinn’s homeworld for its naquadria. Daniel’s knowledge also draws unwanted attention from Osiris, who searches his dreams for clues to the lost city of the Ancients. Away from that hunt, he negotiates with the Unas over a proposed mining operation, while Teal’c encounters Ishta’s community of women who escaped the Goa’uld Moloc.
Anubis introduces heavily armored Kull warriors resistant to the team’s normal weapons. Daniel searches Honduras for an artifact connected to their creation while Carter and the others work against the facility producing them. A subsequent attack on the Alpha Site leaves Carter hunted by one of the soldiers. Back at Stargate Command, a documentary crew records personnel who rarely discuss their work publicly. The assignment becomes a record of loss when Dr. Janet Fraiser is killed while treating a wounded airman under fire.
With Anubis approaching Earth, O’Neill deliberately absorbs another Ancient repository’s knowledge despite knowing that it could kill him. Elizabeth Weir replaces Hammond during a review of the program, but authorizes the team’s search for a defense. O’Neill leads them to a power source and then an Antarctic outpost. While Hammond commands Prometheus in the battle above, O’Neill activates the outpost’s weapons and destroys Anubis’s fleet. He is placed in stasis to preserve his life; the team has found an outpost, not Atlantis itself.
