Storia Americana

Contains spoilers for this episode and earlier episodes.

Loy returns Zero and gives Ebal Donatello's ring, using Ethelrida's discovery against Josto. Josto kills Harvard and Milvin Gillis, then burns their car. Opal strangles Leon as he tries to kill Loy, while Loy's men shoot Happy and his crew. At the Fadda compound, Ebal presents Oraetta and accuses Josto of arranging Donatello's murder, also blaming him for Gaetano's death. Josto protests that his request for Oraetta to care for his father was misunderstood. Ebal removes him from power, and Joe Bulo takes Josto and Oraetta to a field. Oraetta asks to watch Josto die first; Joe shoots him, then kills her.

Satchel finds his way home with Rabbit and reunites with his father. The peace settlement nevertheless leaves Loy weakened: Ebal demands half his business and makes clear that resisting would cost him his life. Loy accepts the terms and returns to his family. As he watches them, Zelmare approaches and repeatedly stabs him in revenge for Swanee. Satchel finds his wounded father and stays beside him as he dies. Ethelrida presents her history report to her parents and then addresses the camera before the painting once displayed in Loy's office. A scene during the credits shows Mike Milligan riding in a car, linking the adult gangster to Satchel and his memories of Rabbi.
