You Suck

You Suck: A Love Story is a comic horror novel by the American writer Christopher Moore, published in 2007. It is a sequel to his earlier novel Bloodsucking Fiends and the second book of a trilogy.

Thomas Flood, known as Tommy, wakes up to discover that his girlfriend Jody is a vampire and that he is now one as well. For most couples the biting and the blood would be a reason to stop, but Tommy and Jody decide that they are in love and intend to manage the situation.

Their arrangements include working out how much Jody should teach him about his new abilities and how much he should work out for himself, and recruiting a sixteen-year-old goth girl named Abby Normal as a minion, since somebody has to run errands during daylight hours. Characters from the earlier book return, including the vampire who turned Jody and Tommy's former colleagues from the grocery store, and the novel reached sixth place on the New York Times bestseller list. That earlier book about the same characters supplies most of the returning cast.
