Witchcraft

Witchcraft is a romance novel by the American writer Jayne Ann Krentz, issued in this Harlequin printing of 219 pages, ISBN 9780373251742.

Kimberly Sawyer writes novels and lives in the wine country of California, where the threats against her begin. First a rose arrives on her doorstep with a needle driven through it, and then she is confronted by a hooded figure holding a dagger. She turns for protection to Darius Cavenaugh, whose vineyard is nearby, and the arrangement puts her in his house and under his guard at a point when she does not know what he is or what he wants from her. The novel sets the danger around Kimberly beside the attraction that develops between the two of them.

It is one of the author's earlier contemporary romances.
