Wedding Cake Wishes

Dana Corbit2010Romantic comedySmall town romance

Logan Warren has taken over his mother's wedding cake business to keep it going, which requires him to deal with brides, icing and customers, none of which he has any talent for.

About

Wedding Cake Wishes is a romance novel by the American writer Dana Corbit, published by Steeple Hill in 2010.

Logan Warren would rather be outdoors than anywhere else, and the family business he has taken on is a wedding cake bakery. If he does not learn how to bake and how to keep customers, the shop will close, and the customers in question are brides with strong opinions about frosting. Caroline Scott, who knows the family, offers to help him, and Logan does not find this reassuring, because the two of them are opposites in nearly every respect: he spends his time on motorcycles and wildlife and she arrives in business suits with the accounts. The one thing they have in common is that neither of them intends to marry.

Neither of them wants the wedding that the shop is full of, which is their only obvious point of agreement.
