Twisted Love

Ana Huang's Twisted Love, published in 2021, centres on Alex Volkov, a man carrying a tragedy from his past that has shaped almost everything since. Success and vengeance take up the room in his life that other people give to love. When he is obliged to look after the younger sister of his closest friend, he finds himself feeling something he had not planned on.

Ava Chen is a photographer with nightmares about a childhood she cannot fully recall, and with a habit of finding the good in people, including the man she has been told not to want: her brother's best friend and her next-door neighbour. Despite a broken past she still finds things in the world worth looking at, and the novel presents itself as a brother's-best-friend and opposites-attract romance with a thread of suspense, written for readers who do not expect a traditionally sweet hero. The secrets that come out between the two of them are of the kind that can damage everything they have built.

Twisted Love was published in 2021 and is the first book in the Twisted series, written so that it can also be read on its own.
