About
The Titan's Curse is a novel for children by the American writer Rick Riordan, published in the United States and Britain on 1 May 2007. It is based on Greek myth and it is the third book of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.
Percy Jackson is fourteen. He is a demigod, which means that one of his parents is a god, and he and his friends spend a good deal of their time dealing with the consequences of that.
In this book a friend of his, the satyr Grover, raises the alarm, and Percy and the other demigods go to his aid. What they find is that Annabeth, one of their own, and the goddess Artemis have both been taken by the army of Kronos. The quest that follows takes them across the country and into the middle of a war between the gods.
The novel follows the quest they undertake to get the two of them back. It was published by Miramax Books, an imprint of Hyperion, which was then part of Disney Publishing.
