The Husband Hunt

The Husband Hunt is a historical romance by the Canadian writer Lynsay Sands, published in 2012 and part of her Madison Sisters series.

Lisa Madison has decided to marry, and she has decided on Robert Langley, who knew her when she was a girl and continues to treat her as one. Robert has his own reasons for avoiding marriage: he grew up watching his parents' unhappy union, and he is determined not to be trapped into the same arrangement, which is exactly what he is afraid of doing if he acts on what he feels. The novel follows the two of them through a season in which Lisa's plans and Robert's resistance keep colliding, and it adds the complication of a man who takes an interest in her that is not welcome, which forces Robert to act as her protector. It is the third of the Madison sisters' books, and the same family is at the centre of all of them.

The three novels share the same London season and the same relatives, and this is the last of them.
