The Dark Secret

The Dark Secret is a fantasy novel by the American writer Tui T. Sutherland, published in 2013 and part of the Wings of Fire sequence.

The dragonets of destiny are travelling to meet the NightWings, and Starflight, who belongs to that tribe, does not need his psychic ability to know the meeting is going to be difficult. His duty, as he understands it, is to persuade the others to put their support behind Blister for the throne. What he cannot dismiss is the sense that Morrowseer and the other NightWings are withholding something from him, and that whatever it is could put his friends in danger. He has no powers to fall back on, only his own judgement, and the SkyWings are pursuing the group while Queen Burn is hunting them as well.

Starflight is one of the dragonets of destiny, and this volume is told largely from his point of view.
