The Bazaar of Bad Dreams is a collection of short fiction by Stephen King, published in November 2015.

About

Stephen King published The Bazaar of Bad Dreams on 3 November 2015. It is his sixth collection of short stories and, counting the novella collections as well, the tenth gathering of his shorter fiction.

King had said in a letter on his website in June 2014 that a book of new stories might follow, and he gave the title and more of the shape of it in an interview that November, describing a collection of around twenty tales. In the months before publication he confirmed a number of the pieces it would hold, among them Bad Little Kid, which had appeared as an e-book in French and German as a gift for his European readers, and a heavily revised version of Ur.

The collection won the Shirley Jackson Award for best collection in 2015, and one of the stories, Obits, took the Edgar Award for best short story the following year. The paperback edition, which came out on 18 October 2016, added a bonus story called Cookie Jar, so the book exists in two slightly different versions.
