Spooksville - The Secret Path
Adam has just moved to a small town he thinks is called Springville, until a girl named Sally tells him that its real name is Spooksville and that the stories about it are true.
About
Spooksville - The Secret Path is a horror novel for younger readers by the American writer Christopher Pike, published in 1995 and part of the Spooksville sequence.
Adam is new in the small town of Springville and does not believe the stories he is told about it. Sally, whom he meets on his first day, explains that the place is really called Spooksville, because of the number of strange things that happen there, and he treats that as a joke until he has seen enough to stop treating it as one. Sally and a boy called Watch then go with him in search of the Secret Path, which is said to lead to other versions of the town. Passing through a dark doorway takes the three of them to a version of Spooksville occupied by enormous spiders, walking skeletons, black knights and a witch who makes dolls out of children.
