About
Night Fever is a romance novel by the American writer Diana Palmer.
Rebecca Cullen is twenty-four and carries more than most people her age: a full-time job, two teenage brothers to raise, a retired grandfather to look after and a farm in Georgia to keep going. Her life comes apart when her brother Clay is arrested on a drug charge, because she knows he is innocent and nobody with any authority is inclined to believe her. The district attorney handling the case is Rourke Kilpatrick, a man known locally for his determination to convict dealers by whatever means the law allows. He is also rude, arrogant and the most attractive man Rebecca has met, which does not help her. As he begins to listen to her family's side of things, the two of them have to work out what they are to each other.
