Manhunting
Kate Svenson is a success at work and has been engaged three times without getting married, so she decides to approach the problem of finding a husband as a project.
About
Manhunting is a romance novel by the American writer Jennifer Crusie.
Kate Svenson is good at her job and has concluded that she is bad at love, a problem she sets out to solve with a plan. The resort she chooses is full of men who match her list: wealthy, ambitious and on their way up. They also have a habit of removing themselves from the competition, and Jake Templeton, who is at the resort for reasons of his own, ends up fishing one of them out of the swimming pool. Jake has given up on ambition, which makes him the opposite of everything Kate has decided she wants, and the book keeps putting the two of them in each other's way until her plan stops looking sensible.
