Heart of Ice

Heart of Ice is a romance novel by the American writer Diana Palmer.

Katriane makes her living writing the kind of romance she has never experienced for herself. The last way she wants to spend a holiday is with Egan Winthrop, her roommate's brother, a rancher from Wyoming whose manner she finds infuriating, and she goes anyway. The book follows what happens between a woman who has built a career out of love stories and a man who does not talk about his feelings. His invitation to his ranch is not offered as a favour, and Katriane has to work out how much of what he says he actually means. Her difficulty is that she can make the women in her books behave, and she cannot do the same for herself.
