Falling for the Forest Ranger
Tanner Bohlman works for the Forest Service and knows the dangers of Idaho's land and rivers, and he does not think it is any place for a woman like Zoe Lawton, even if she is a capable marine biologist.
About
Falling for the Forest Ranger is a Christian romance by the American writer Leigh Bale, published in 2013. It is set in Idaho.
Tanner Bohlman works for the Forest Service, and his job has taught him what the untamed country and rivers of Idaho can do to people who are careless with them. When Zoe Lawton arrives in town he does not think she belongs in that landscape, even though she is a capable marine biologist; she is a widow with a young son, new to the area and in need of a guide. Tanner takes her out into the country, and in the process he discovers that her young son has never been fishing, so he teaches him. He becomes a father figure to the boy almost without deciding to, and the woman he had written off as dainty turns out to have more grit than he gave her credit for. The novel follows the three of them as Tanner begins to question the vow he made never to love anybody again.
The work takes the two of them into the mountains, which is where most of the courtship happens. Bale writes romances for the Christian market, and this book appeared in the Love Inspired line.
