Entertain the End
Everworld is a place that should not exist and does, and the creatures living in it should not exist either; it is a land where dreams and nightmares are real and frequently lethal.
About
Entertain the End is a young adult fantasy novel by the American writer Katherine Applegate, published in 2001. It is the twelfth and final book of the Everworld series.
Everworld is a place that by rights should not exist but does, and the creatures that live in it should not exist either. It is a land where every dream and every nightmare is entirely real, and where they are very often deadly as well.
April, David, Christopher and Jalil have reached the end of the line. Senna, who was their only passage back to the real world, is gone, and there is no prospect of her returning.
That does not undo any of the harm she did in Everworld while she was there, and the four of them know that putting it right is now their responsibility. Doing it means another meeting with Hel, who had never been outsmarted by anybody before she met April and the others, and who would be more than pleased to see them dead or, better still, suffering for eternity, which is a very long time indeed.
