Elusive Paradise

Elusive Paradise is a romance novel by the British writer Lilian Peake, issued by Mills & Boon in this printing of 189 pages, ISBN 9780263752540.

The book opens at a party after a wedding, where Lynsey says something light about Cinderella and a man takes it as an invitation. He is charming and attentive, and she allows herself to be carried along by it before she works out who he is. Madoc Morgan is the brother of the friend whose wedding she has just attended, and he is also the new head of the firm that employs her, a man with a reputation for dealing with staff without much sympathy. From that point the romance and the working relationship are tangled together, and Lynsey has to decide how much of what happened at the party she is willing to have meant.
