Dark Lycan

Dark Lycan is a paranormal romance novel by Christine Feehan, published in 2013. Its first central character, Tatijana of the Dragonseekers, spent hundreds of years encased in ice beside her sister, held in limbo between life and death and able to speak only to those who tormented her.

A descendant she does not know has freed her from the ice and woken her in human form. What she wants now is to explore the modern world she has woken into, and that world holds more mysteries than she is prepared for, while the powers she brought out of the ice are as unfamiliar to the people around her as they are to her.

Fenris Dalka has returned to the Carpathian Mountains after a long absence in order to be with his brother. Centuries of battle have scarred him and every hard-won victory has cost him something, so his return has a second reason that he does not advertise, and the book brings the two of them together in the mountains.
