Bad Moon Rising

Bad Moon Rising is a paranormal romance by the American writer Sherrilyn Kenyon, published in 2009. It takes two supporting figures out of her Dark-Hunter world and gives them a book of their own.

Fang Kattalakis is more than a wolf: he is the brother of two of the most powerful members of the Omegrion, the ruling council that enforces the laws of the Were-Hunters. When war erupts among the lycanthropes, sides have to be chosen, and old enemies are forced into alliances that neither of them trusts.

Aimee is the woman Fang loves, and she is accused of betraying her people. Her only hope is that he believes in her, and to save her he has to break the law of his own kind and the faith of his brothers. The novel follows the consequences of that breach, which threatens both races and the world they share, and it keeps the two of them inside a war that has already begun and is running out of time. The result is a breach of faith that neither family can simply ignore.
